Happy Friday, friends! I wanted to share a fun brand that I've been a fan of for awhile; Ink Blot Shop. I've been a follower of owner Tifany DeGough since back in the day when she designed for Unity Stamps. She eventually started her own company and I fell in love with her release from February of this year. I recently purchased 4 stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp, who carry this brand as well. Stick around, as I've got some coupon codes for you too!

The first stamp set I chose to work with is the "Little Something" stamp set, coloring up that cute little guy with Copics markers. You can do so many things with these images and for so many sweet occasions. I thought this would be a cute card for my son to give his grandmother for Mother's Day.

I wanted to have a tall card with an endless sky so I grabbed an 8.5x11" sheet of Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb white cardstock, trimming and scoring to 8"L x 4"W.
My coordinating card panel was inked using a variety of Ranger Distress Inks. I used blender brushes from Picket Fence Studios, using them to blend off the edge of torn paper. It's a very easy technique and if you'd like to see more, you can view a 1 minute video that I made as part of my Crafty Friday Night series, here.
Next up, I used the stamp set called "Botanical Borders", again coloring with my Copic markers

These borders are so fun to color! My favorite color combo was that pretty orange/yellow bloom. Be sure you're using a good dye ink or hybrid ink when stamping your images for use with Copic coloring. I also did some embellishing on my florals with a white Signo gel pen. All my adhesives are from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
I also created a grassy border at the bottom, masking off a white striped area with washi tape. I used the dotted mound in the stamp set below called, "Get Grounded". Once I inked the dotty stamp all over, within the boundaries of the masked area, I then colored with my green Copic markers, YG17 and YG25, before peeling off the washi tape.
