Now, a few creative details about my project that features exclusive Scrapbook.com Star nesting dies, Neenah cards and card fronts, adhesives and more!
I'm using the brand new Big and Bold Christmas stamp set, with heat embossing that includes Scrapbook.com's new premium clear embossing ink. You'll find product links at the end of this post.
I also used the exclusive Scrapbook.com Holiday hybrid inks to watercolor my gnomes, from the Stampendous Holiday Gnomes stamp set. Just press your ink pad onto a craft mat, then grab the color with a waterbrush and paint! So easy! I used a white gel pen for some added embellishment and highlighting.
The Scrapbook.com double-sided foam assortment comes in so many shapes and sizes and is perfect for popping up my gnome images for added dimension.
My background was stenciled and ink blended, using the Ballet hybrid ink and the Heffy Doodle Cloudy Skies stencil, on Neenah card fronts. The new domed foam blending tools and applicator tips make this soooo easy! I also blended red, green and pink stars on the Neenah card front, then cut them with my Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cut/emboss machine and splattered white paint for some added interest. These are also popped up with the adhesive foam.
You'll find more fun tips on this project over on my Instagram page at Waving My Wand. Be sure and follow me, and say hi!

ReplyDeleteForgot my favorite holiday memories which is Midnight Mass with all the family.
DeleteThese Gnomes are so adorable. And love the glitter. Would love to see a tutorial video ... Super cute idea!!! Christmas for me is filled with so many memories. My favorite memory is being with my Grama and seeing what color her tree was each year … either traditional (multi color w/ silver icicles), or a Chrismon tree with white/gold ornaments (all of which were hand-made). This will be our 2nd Christmas without her. I would give anything to see her tree again (she was 102 the last time she put her tree up ... She would have been 104 on Dec. 3rd.) I miss her and all her traditions! (a.k.a. Corrie Hanson @ cozycorner1902@gmail.com)

Adorable cards! I love those darling gnomes!
