Week 2 - DoubleClick Skittles Challenge "Use a Wheel"

Welcome to week 2 of the DoubleClick Skittles Challenge!

Challenge #32 - Use a Wheel

Sept. 30 - Oct 13

I went all "au naturale" on this card.  I wanted to do a tire swing for my wheel, so I hand drew a tree branch, then drew a tire, colored it and then fussy cut and popped it out with foam squares.  I cut a couple slits with my craft knife above and below the branch, then looped my twine through.

The sentiment is a stamp from Two Paper Divas and I added another little knot and some stickers that look like tire tracks.

The skittle color I'm using today is latte and it pairs perfectly with my color scheme, don't you think?  I did a little sponging with mocha chalk ink on my card edges as well.

Have you seen the new Skittles release, Witches Brew?  It's just a little fabulous, I think.  These fun colors are Pumpkin, Witch and Frog, and Carri has 3 different price options for this set, starting at a price point of $3.75 for the 3 pk set.  That includes free USA shipping and PAYPAL accepted.  Go....now!  New releases sell out quick!
