Coffee Copic Coloring Plus Stamp Of The Month

Hello friends, today I'm sharing a coffee card that features stamps from Crackerbox & Suzy stamps.  The sentiment, Bean Awhile, is one that I designed earlier this year and is also the featured Stamp of the Month, which means it's 50% off.  Less than $2.00!  Crazy, right?  I'm also coloring with Copics for the first time.  What can I say, I'm a late bloomer?  Ya'll know, I adore watercoloring but I've been wanting to invest in Copics so I finally took the plunge and have started a small collection.  This is literally the first thing that I've colored.  I think I did alright.

Although my colorist friends tell me I need to color with special paper for the Copics, and I have that paper, I am so used to reaching for my mixed media paper that, that is what I used.  

It most likely would have blended smoother, had I used the right paper, but I'm still happy with how this turned out.

You'll find links to all the products at the end of this post.  I left a little uncolored, white streak to represent the cream in my coffee.  

I also used my Catherine Pooler Inks to stamp my images with my Misti.  One of the things I'm striving to do more of, is use up more of my paper collections.  The enamel dots and geometric papers are from the My Minds Eye Hey Mister paper collection.  My white cardstock is Neenah Solar White and I trimmed and scored for a 4x6 in top fold card.  My sentiment was heat embossed.

Get ready because a new release is coming next week and you are going to love it.  There might be some new Harry Potter stamps but sssshhhh..... you didn't hear that from me!
