Faith Can Move Mountains Card

I was so excited when Echo Park Paper came out with the new "Have Faith" collection recently, that I had to get my hands on it right away.  It arrived within days from Scrapbook.com and immediately I went to work and whipped up this beauty.

Oh, how I wish I had every item in this collection.  Like many of you though, my budget can be stretched, so pick and choose is what I did, placing other items on my wish list. 

Let's talk about the rub-ons.  I haven't used any in a long, long time.  Over the years, I had tried some here and there, however they didn't completely rub off.  The quality of what I was using was sub-par, to say the least.  They have come a long way baby, let me tell you!  In fact, I made a short 20 sec video to show you how easy and vibrant these are when I rubbed them onto my cardstock.  To stretch the use of the floral bouquet rub-on, I cut it in half, using one half each on two corners of my panel.  I love the results!

Finding Ways To Stretch Your Stamps

When Pretty Pink Posh came out with their newest release, I fell in love with the Easter Blessings stamp set.   I always look for duality when purchasing stamps and immediately, I saw another use for this set - sympathy cards.  You can find many of the wonderful products that I used today, at 

Simon Says Stamp!

By simply masking the word "Easter", you can change up the sentiment to suit your purposes.

Pretty Pink Posh EASTER BLESSINGS Clear Stamp Set

I used a cardstock sticker with my masked sentiment, which now conveys something different altogether and is perfect for my sympathy card.  In my part of the country, flowered plants are often given in memorial at a funeral so, this lovely potted lily stamp works as well, from the set.

Those wonderful scalloped border dies add a special touch to the card, as well.  I found some leafy patterned paper in my stash that I thought paired perfectly with my lilies.

If you look closely, you'll see that I embellished my leaves by dotting with a white gel pen.  This is something that I like to do,  just to jazz up and doodle a bit on my cards sometimes.

Customized Travelers Notebook Cover for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Hello again crafty friends.  I'm so happy to continue on with the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L design team.  Today begins my first post for the new term that will head into 2019 and I thought it was time to get motivated with a new Traveler's Notebook.  My teenager is a culinary student and plans on owning his own restaurant one day.  He attends cooking competitions, assists with creating product for catering events and I thought it was time that I began to chronicle this time in his life.

Today's project is all about designing the cover.  I wanted to create something neutral that would work for a guy or a girl.  Let me tell you, I had a hard time finding a tn journal that would fit the guys!  I finally settled on this aztec design from the Simple Stories Carpe Diem line.  I had soooo much fun designing this with creative foam sheets and adhesive sheets.  Be sure to head on over to the SBAby3L blog and get all the details!
