Mixed Media Card for So Suzy Stamps featuring Masking

I'm back to showcase several products from So Suzy Stamps and creating a mixed media "Love" card for someone special.  This card features masking, stenciling and an amazing sentiment called, "Audrey Hepburn", a beautiful quote from a world renowned actress and humanitarian.

Let me share a brief tutorial on how I made this card.  First, I fussy cut some stamped Chrysanthemum images to use for masking and pulled out my Misti, stamping on DCWV designer cardstock.

Did you know Suzy has a brand new white pigment ink that she's added to her shop?  It's called Angel Wings and I love it!  I've actually used several of the ink bites colors for my Chrysanthemum stamping.  To add a little white highlight, stamp some of the Angel Wings onto a craft mat or acrylic block and grab the color with a slightly damp waterbrush  and paint your outline.

Next, do a little embellishing if you like.  I used a white gel pen to add tiny dots to my flowers, than added splotches and streaks of Nuvo Glitter Chocolate Fondue Crystal drops.  It's so pretty in person.

Stenciling with textured paste adds a lot of dimension and I've used the TCW Mini Ripple stencil along with Inka Gold metallic paste in Gold and Fuschia.

I also drew some tiny mini hearts here and there, using my Kaisercraft gel pens.

A thin strip of adhesive glitter ribbon completes my A7 sized card.
