New Release at Two Paper Divas featuring "For Peeps Sake"

I am so excited about this brand new release from Two Paper Divas!  It is chock full of some super amazing stamps and some super adorable stamps!  Today, I'm sharing my take on the new set,
"For Peeps Sake".  When you finish here, be sure you head over to the blog because TPD is having a giveaway as well.  Can we say bonus?!  One lucky commenter is going to to win a free set of stamps!

I made some super cute decorative treat tags and each one is just a little different.

I started out by watercoloring my die-cut tags, masking one of the circles and watercoloring my little chick.  Next, I used the Two Paper Divas Background Stamps (a must have!) and stamped with my distress inks onto the carstock, then stamping my egg shell.  This is the base for my speckled eggs.

I even used my watercolor brush and distress ink to turn my sentiment into matching speckled word phrases, which I cut and staggered on my tags.

Aren't these too fun??!!  I love them!  Here's a little collage so you can see the differences.  I really added to my speckled eggs by running them through a spotted embossing folder, then adding more watercolor to the embossed spots and finishing off with stamping one last time with my background stamp in white pigment ink.  I didn't trim them out until I had them all good and speckled!

Some of my little egg shells appear to be popped out.  Just use a small strip of glue line or score-tape on the inside bottom edge of your shell to get this effect.  I know you are going to love these stamps as much as I do!
