I'm thrilled to be guest designing today for Word Art Wednesday. I've been a fan of this challenge blog for several years and a participant on many occasions. I'm all about the mission and encouraging message that Word Art Wednesday stands for, as well. Each week they offer up a new digital scripture that you can print out and use for your own crafting. It's not required to participate in the challenges but isn't a wonderful thing? I think so. Thank you Karen, for asking me to be the guest designer for June!

Today's scripture is from Psalm 1:1 and is so timely, with Father's Day just around the corner. This verse reminds me so much of my stepdad. He is one of the Godliest men that I know. So what does this verse mean? In a nutshell, my interpretation is, the man who is following Christ and his teachings, walking the walk and talking the talk, will be blessed. This man is not listening to or being influenced by those who talk, walk or act or speak in a manner not fitting a Christian. He has friends watching him who are not Christ followers. What does that mean? It means, he doesn't want to ruin his testimony by causing someone else to stumble or fall. In other words, he's upright and a man of integrity and others will know this by his actions.
Of course, as a cardmaker and participant in this card challenge site, I would be remiss if I didn't share some pertinent details about my card. I've had this collection in my stash for some time and it needed a little more love, so I pulled out "Hey Mister" from My Mind's Eye. This masculine themed collection fit so well with today's scripture. It's always a bonus when everything comes together on a project. I'm using diecuts, paper, puffy stickers (out of stock) and more for my A2 sized card. You'll find links to most of the products below. All my adhesives are from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I've also done a bit of gold foiling on one of the diecut flags. The word stickers are from Tim Holtz Big Chat stickers.
