World Card Making Day with Catherine Pooler

Hey friends, I wanted to pop on here and share a special World Card Making Day event happening over on Instagram with Catherine Pooler Designs. I tried to keep my card somewhat simple. I'm a huge fan of clean and simple cards. I began by masking off a square area and ink blended my "On The Lake" ink in the square. I also swiped some of my "With an Olive" ink onto white cardstock and trimmed a strip.

My ink blended square was also splattered with white acrylic paint.

My mugs are from the Holiday Mug Shots stamp set included in the bundle, but can be purchased separately. I colored my mugs with Copic Markers in these colors:

Snowman Mug - YR68, YG11, YG63, C1, E31, E33

Patterned Mug: E37, BG10 B93, YG11, YG63, C1

My sentiment is from the Seasonal Mix Sentiments stamp set, stamped with my Misti and CPD Midnight Ink.

Behind my card panel, I've layered some striped patterned paper from the Cookies & Milk patterned paper. I chose to lay it vertically, rather than horizontally and have those various bits of color from the stripes pop out at the top and bottom of the card. I love how it looks!
