Fall Inspired Card for National Coffee Day

Hello my friends. I'm back with another Fall inspired card featuring new products from Newton's Nook. Plus, today is National Coffee Day so I'm covering my bases with that gorgeous cup of latte! This card truly encompasses my favorite season, with all the things I love about Fall. First, let me give a shoutout to NN for the recent Instagram Hop giveaway that I won, a $25 gc to shop!  Of course, I threw way more than $25 in my cart, haha!

I really loved their Autumn Postage Sampler stamp set. So much so, that I finally bought my first postage stamp die! I've been eyeballing the various postage stamp cover plates from numerous companies for awhile. I'm so thrilled to add this to my collection. I absolutely love it!

All of my coloring was done with the OLO Markers you see in the photo above.

The products that I'm creating with from Newton's Nook are:

Autumn Postage Sampler stamp & die set

The orange paper that I used for my background and to die cut the outline of the postage die was from one of my Scrapbookcom paper pads called Market Bloom

There are so many gorgeous patterned papers in the NN Autumn paper pad, it can be overwhelming choosing which ones to use. I knew I wanted to fill my postage squares with the paper, so I decided to choose 3 papers. Gingham and plaid are my faves so that was easy enough. I also thought the brown leafy paper would be complementary and not too busy as a backdrop for my colored images. Plus, it was on the flipside of my plaid paper so I only had to run a total of 2 sheets through my die cut machine, as opposed to 3.

If you follow me on Instagram, maybe you caught my stories over the weekend, sharing a video of the bulk foiling and reverse foiling that I did recently. The sentiment above was done with a negative foiled sheet leftover from foiling with the NN Autumn Greetings hot foil plate. I love using negative sheets but you do need a solid hot foil plate. I do all my foiling with my Glimmer hot foil system.

I used my Spellbinders Copper foil for my negative foiling on yellow cardstock, from my Market Bloom paper pad. I really love how foiling looks on colored cardstock. You really should try it if you've never done it before.

Can I also say, I love how my coloring turned out? I blended multiple colors for that leaf and also the apple. In fact, I think the apple is my favorite! I also embellished the apple, leaf and sunflower with Scrapbook Pops of Color liquid embellishment in Orange Creamsicle.

This card brings me such joy, I just love Autumn! We just need the weather to cool off where I live and then I will be one happy girl. I hope you have a fantastic week and have a happy National Coffee Day too. Oh, and I'll be guesting a couple places this week in celebration of National Coffee Week so stay tuned for more caffeinated inspiration! If you have any questions on this card, just ask away in the comments.
