Winter Is Coming

Welcome friends.  I have another project featuring Paper House Productions.  For many of you, winter has already reared it's wintry head.  In the Deep South, however, we have just recently had a little taste of colder weather and the occasional snow flurry.

Making seasonal cards are a favorite of mine, which is why I've created a night time winter scene, featuring Life Organized Products.

To create that moon, I blended distress and oxide inks onto mixed media paper, cutting with a large circle nesting die.  Water splatters help give a fun "crater" effect.  The sentiment is a sticker from the Life Organized Seasonal Sticker pack and has over 1200 stickers for every season!  The background on this sticker is clear so it blends onto any project perfectly.  These are great for planners, scrapbooking, cardmaking and more.

My night sky features a starry sky paper from the Great outdoors Camping Life Paper Kit.  I've added "snow", dotted all over my card using white acrylic paint.

To finish, I added a pretty twine bow and a strip of washi tape at the bottom, from the Honeybees 2 piece set.  All of my adhesives are courtesy of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

I know many of my northern friends intensely dislike winter snow, blizzards, etc.  If you like sending snarky cards, this would totally qualify!  Winter weather alert!  Thanks so much for popping in today.  I'll see you again soon with Christmas themed projects for Paper House Productions!
