Grand Bloom Stitched Card for Spellbinders

There's still time to sign up for the Spellbinders Stitching Die of the Month Club. This month's selections is titled, "Grand Stitched Blooms" and it's such a whimsical kit. I had so much fun stitching and embellishing these lovely die cuts. Scroll down for a couple brief details, plus Early Black Friday deals at Spellbinders!

The last day to sign up for this monthly club kit is Nov. 27th. You'll receive a number of dies to make a variety of blooms, leaves and stems.

I opted to mix up my die cuts to make one large bloom using patterned and solid papers cut with my Platinum 6, Pops of Color liquid embellishment and DMC variegated thread for the stitching. Did you know Spellbinders sells DMC embroidery threads? They have lots of different bundles for purchase, including the variegated threads. I used :

• 69 Variegated Terra Cotta
• 92 Variegated Avocado

The colors above are included in the 18 pc bundle and also in the DMC Collector's Edition 36 pc bundle, which is what I have.

 

I also used a Spellbinders 3D embossing folder for my white card panel and die cut a sentiment from Yana's Layered Script Sentiment dies.
