Hello lovelies! I'm sharing this Christmas card for an Instagram Parade collaboration with Scrapbook.com and Wow Embossing. I'm thrilled to be featuring exclusive Scrapbook.com brand products and some amazing embossing products from Wow, as well! Wow is a UK based company and recently became one of the new brands offered on the site, for which I am thrilled.
I'd love for you to hop over to my Instagram and leave a little love. Stop by the Scrapbookcom Instagram page too!. The Parade goes live at 11:00 am ET today, Nov. 29th. I have some creative details to share with you below, as well as affiliate product links at the end of this post, if you'd like to do some shopping or look around.

Scrapbook.com kindly sent me some of the products that I'm creating with today. When I saw the Christmas Trees stamp set, I immediately had an idea to create a little scene with a sloped, snowy hillside and frozen pond.
I was going to make a mini-slimline card but decided to go a little larger for more open white space. This card and card panel measures 6x4 inches.
I trimmed my white card panel with my ergonomic scissors from Scrapbook.com, going in a sloped design from right to left. These scissors are so comfy and easy to use. I deal with arthritis in my hands in colder weather and I really appreciate the ease of use.
For the top section of my trimmed card panel, I did some ink blending with Catherine Pooler ink called, On The Lake. This section was adhered directly onto the top of my white card.
For my "frozen pond" I trimmed the silver holographic paper from the Holographic paper pad in a more wavy pattern. This was adhered directly onto the bottom of my trimmed snowy slope.
I applied adhesive foam tape to this section and set it aside.
Did you know Wow Embossing has bottled embossing mixed media liquid that you can brush on? I had no idea! It's amazing stuff. For my Christmas Trees, I swiped my Catherine Pooler Ink in Sea Breeze across my white Neenah cardstock.
Next, I brushed the embossing mixed media liquid onto the Scribbly tree stamp that was mounted on my Misti stamp positioner, and stamped directly onto my ink swiped cardstock. I sprinkled on Wow's Verdant embossing powder which is a mix of green and gold powders, and heat embossed four stamped trees. The combination of green and gold is stunning!
Keep in mind, this liquid lends itself to a mixed media look. If you want more precise embossing, you may wish to use a clear embossing ink pad.
Although I had the accompanying dies for the trees, I decided to fussy cut them with my ergonomic scissors since I didn't want an outline for my trees.
For my stamped bows and the "Christmas" sentiment, I stamped again with the emboss ink pad, then heat embossed with the Wow super fine Polished Gold embossing powder. It left such a smooth finish!
Both sentiments are from the Christmas Expressions stamp set.
I also embossed some gold "ornaments" for my tree. I used the small circle die included with the Christmas Trees die set, cut with my Platinum 6 and Magic Mat. I dabbed on some of the embossing liquid and heat embossed with more of the Wow Polished Gold embossing powder. This is when my fine tip ergonomic reverse tweezers came in handy.
To adhere my ornaments and bows (also stamped, die cut and gold embossed) to the trees, I used my exclusive Scrapbook.com brand Artis Glue. This stuff is amazing and comes with different sized tips and a pin to keep clogging at bay.
Two of my trees are adhered directly to my card, and the other two are popped up on adhesive foam, and placed near the top section of my sloped snowy hillside that was adhered to the lower section of my card..
I'm so happy you stopped in today. If you'd like more details or pricing on any of the products that I created with today, just click my affiliate links below.
I hope you have a great day!
Terri
