Hello crafty friends! I'm back with another card for Spellbinders that features the January club clear stamp & coordinating stamp and die set. This set is called Nature's Dance and comes with 9 different sentiments and coordinating dies. I'm so excited to have another set of amazing sentiments! This is one collection that I highly recommend you get your hands on! Scroll down for details, plus product links at the end of this post.

To create my card panel, I did some dry embossing with my Spellbinders 3D Floating Balloons embossing folder and Platinum 6 die cut machine, paired with some ombre paper from my stash.
I used a nail file across the balloon "strings" to make those pop out a bit more, then trimmed small squares from my adhesive liner sheets. I used my Tool N One to help peel off the backing, then adhered each little square to a balloon.
Here's where it comes in handy to save scraps of foil or leftover negative sheets. Once I peeled off the top of my liners, I grabbed one of my Aura foil scraps and pressed down on each adhesive square to apply my foil.
I used a bone folder to burnish and make sure the foil was fully adhered. Now, there's some pretty sparkle on my balloons!
My birthday sentiment was stamped with Catherine Pooler inks in Midnight and Drive-In, using a masking technique to stamp in multiple colors with my stamp positioner. I also used the coordinating die with my Platinum 6 for cutting, then popped up my sentiment on adhesive foam strips.
For my backing to this card panel, I trimmed enough Aura foil to cover an A2 piece of white cardstock. When not heat foiling, I love to apply adhesive spray to cardstock, allow to dry for a minute, then placing my foil on top, using a bone folder from the bottom up to lay my foil sheet down and smooth out. I do not peel the top liner of foil, but leave it intact.
Both my card panel and foiled background were slightly trimmed to fit on my white A2 sized card.
This was a fun card to put together. Trimming the adhesive squares and foiling them took a bit of patience but it's such a fun effect.
If you'd like to join the stamp and coordinating die club, or any monthly club selections, you have until January 27th to join. You can cancel at any time and rejoin at any time. Check out all the club offerings, here.
