Tea Gift Boxes for Coffee Loving Papercrafters

If you follow me on social media, then you know I love crafting and tea, my two big loves. I've had the Catherine Pooler Designs Peek-A-Boo Treat Box dies in my stash for a couple months and I thought this would be a perfect time to break them in.

Initially, I was going to fill these treat boxes with some kind of Fall candy. But when I finished my first die cut and started to assemble it, I realized it was the perfect size to fit a couple tea bags inside.

So, what did I do? I went to Walmart, haha. Unfortunately, most of my tea supply is loose leaf or tea bags that aren't individually wrapped. I absolutely love Chai, so I snagged the Twinings box of Chai for under $5.00. I checked Amazon and it's $4.16 right now if you like shopping there. Oh look, here's an Amazon affiliate link for you, imagine that 😆! 

In the photo above, you can see my first die cut box that's ready to assemble. I would recommend using paper from a 6x8 inch or larger paper pad or scrapbook paper when using this die. The papers I used are actually discontinued, but I liked how they fit my theme. And hey, it's always good to use up your stash, right?

The stamp set that I used to create my elements and sentiment are from the Catherine Pooler Designs Flavors of Fall stamp set. The CPD inks I used were Mandarin Spice, Macchiato, Amber, Eucalyptus and then S'mores for my sentiment.

I also added a little embellishment to my cup above that includes that tiny little dark blue enamel dot. Also, my sentiment was stamped onto CPD Over Coffee cardstock. I love how the dark S'mores ink looks against it.
