Peace On Earth - Coloring with Tombow and Adornit #ad

As a craft blogger, I'm often tied to deadlines and projects that are thematic.  I love what I do, but sometimes a girl just needs to be able to sit down, take a little "me" time and chill.  This is one of those moments; coloring for my own pleasure.

Coloring Books are super hot right now, including the Adornit Art Play products.  Their new coloring books for adults (or kids of all ages!) and holiday themed Art Play Paintables are everywhere!  I highly recommend you get your hands on some.  You can find clickable links throughout my post, as I'm making it easy for you.  Sharing the love, is what I do.  Particularly, when it's a product that I adore and use myself.

I colored my image from the Holly Jolly collection, designed by artist Lindsay Ostrom, using my Tombow dual brush markers

from: Scrapbook.com

Once I finished coloring, I did a little "smooshing"; running my markers across an acrylic block (or craft mat), spritzing with water, then blotting your paper onto the wet colors.  I did this one color at a time.

To finish off my piece, I inked up a white doily with distress spray then added glitter glue to my colored mistletoe, beautiful mini pom pom ribbon from The Ribbon Resource and Skittles bubble embellishments.
