Making Planner Stickers With Two Paper Divas

I was so excited to receive the brand new stamp set, "Cupcake Border" from the February release at Two Paper Divas.  Being on the design team, I never know what they'll send me to play with, although we are encouraged to let the Big Dogs know our favorites.  The cupcake border?  Yup.  One of my favorites.   I've got to say.... I have quickly fallen in love with every set of Two Paper Divas Stamps.  They stamp so clean and crisp, every time; they're super versatile as well, which leads me to today's project.  Using this set as a border is a no-brainer, so let's do something fun and different;  STICKERS!

Craft planners are super hot right now and numerous companies have dedicated entire lines of product to planners and accessories.  I'm on numerous design teams and yes, I have to have a planner or I'd lose my mind trying to keep up with everything.  Making it decorative and fun is an added bonus!  Below, I've stamped and colored a couple rows of my cupcake border.  You can do this on plain cardstock, but I thought it would be fun to use up some scrap paper so I grabbed this Adornit blender paper and stamped on the diagonal line, which is kind of cool to have some extra pattern on the cupcake liners, don't you think?

If you don't want to fussy cut each image, then just use a little circle punch or trim out squares around your image.  It really was quick work cutting out my images.  Now, I love my Xyron sticker maker.  I have several sizes but the 2.5" is perfect for this little project.  I just crank my images through the machine and they come out fully adhered, edge-to-edge, onto this sticker paper.

Now, I can toss this entire sheet into my planner pocket and decorate it for birthday reminders or other party events.  But, don't limit yourself there.  Use these as little embellishments on your other craft projects or to decorate your monthly calendar at home or work.  Let the kids do something fun with it!  Are you a craft seller?  Good golly, make up a bunch of these and sell them!  You can really deck them out with bling and glitter glue if you wish.

Here's an entry on my planner for later this month.  Perfect!  As you can see, I added some "sprinkles" on my cupcake, using a white gel pen.

I hope you've been inspired to think outside the box with your stamps.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

*If you don't have a sticker maker, just run adhesive across the bottom of your cardstock before fussy cutting, then place your "stickers" on wax paper or scrap leftover sticker sheets for storage.  (I save ALL my leftover sticker sheets.  They come in handy for so many things!)
