I haven't given enough love to some of my newer products from Erin Lee Creative. Luckily, I had the day off from work today. You know.... the job that pays the bills? Haha. It was a very crafty day, getting lots done, including some hot foiling. I adore hot foiling! We all know, it can be problematic to get decent photos of foiled cardstock. Lighting is tricky as is the case with today's card. Not to worry though. Scroll down for more

As a designer, I generally don't foil much with silver toned foils because of photographic issues. However, I'll foil all the things for my own personal use just because it's so gorgeous in person. Since I can't quite capture the beauty in a front shot, let me share this 15 second video that I posted in my Instagram Stories.
I've spent so much time talking about photography, now let me share a few details about this card.
I'm using two different hot foil plates from Erin Lee Creative on this project. The Burst hot foil plate was a new release that came out right before Easter and I initially purchased it to make a few Easter cards . I thought it would look really cool to use the Burst plate for some partial foiling on my card panel.
I basically offset my foil and cardstock when hot foiling, moving my hot plate around on my Glimmer Hot Foil System, as needed, to keep everything within the confines of my Glimmer surface.
The other hot foil plate is called "Loved" and I purchased it solely for one of the sentiments included in the set. You can view that card here, if you missed it. Because this set has so many wonderful words of encouragement, I definitely wanted to get more use out of it.
I foiled my sentiment with pink hot foil. Also, underneath my card panel is a sheet of adhesive foam which I also foiled. Hot foils can definitely be used on adhesive! Both the silver and pink hot foil are from a Spellbinders 4 pk set. Check out my supply list at the end of this post.
Lastly I embellished my surface with some sequins and some cute acrylic hearts that a crafty friend of mine made at Lacey Ann Designs.
Thanks so much for stopping by. If you'd like to do some shopping and any of these amazing products to your life, I've provided convenient affiliate links at no cost to you. Thanks again!
