Coffee Rise and Shine Card

Hello my coffee loving friends! It's that time again. The Spring/Summer Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop begins today.  You have the opportunity to link up your coffee, tea, cocoa themed projects and be in the running for some major prizes from the best sponsors ever.  Today's project spotlights products from Catherine Pooler Inks. But first, let me mention that you have all week to link up. Just find the day one post and scroll down to link up. The hop runs from 3/19 to 3/26 so you have plenty of time to create a new project and link up. It must be a new project. Old creations from your social media will not qualify.

Although I used mostly Catherine Pooler Ink products, looking through my stash, I could not find a sun ray stencil or die.  What??!! The stencil I had probably disappeared into the great unknown. I did, however, have an embossing folder from Sunny Studio Stamps. To achieve that "stenciled" look, I simply inked up my cardstock, embossed it, then cut out the negative pieces with scissors.  Voile! Mission accomplished! 

 Although I used Catherine Pooler Inks on my sunbeam and sentiment, I used Copic markers on my mugs. I'm all about the matchy matchy look, so I kept my mugs the same, popping one up on foam adhesive.  I also used a bit of Nuvo glitter glue on the word "Shine" for added sparkle.

Mini Slimline Kitty Mug Card

Hello friends, I'm popping in to share some awesome new products from Catherine Pooler Designs. I made this sweet mini-slimline card featuring images from the new Mug Shots stamp set and Daily Grind paper pack, watercoloring with inks from the Date Night collection and stamping with Icing On the Cake and Midnight.

Here's a quick tip to get the reverse image of the mug. Stamp just the cup, masking the handle with tape. Then, mask the cup and flip the stamp upside down so the handle is on the right, then stamp!  Easy peasy!
