Today is day one, of sharing five days of projects created with Unity Stamps. Yup, I'm a GIU Girl. What's that you say? It stands for "Growing in Unity". Once a year, the Unity Stamp Company puts out a call. Only 52 spots are available and usually, once the announcement is made, the spots are taken in a matter of minutes. There's a lot of gnashing of teeth, wailing and thrashing, for those who didn't get a coveted spot. You think I'm kidding, right? I am not.
So yes, I was one of the lucky ones and this is my week. Each day, Monday through Friday, I'll be sharing a different creation featuring Unity Stamps. I've had a love affair with their stamps for a long time; even those close to me know this. So what's in it for you? Well, if you leave a comment each day, your name will be tossed into the mighty randomizer thingamajig and out will pop two names. The lucky winners will win a grab bag of 25 Unity stamps. I've been a recipient of those grab bags and they are fabulous, believe me.
I'm starting the week with one of my favorite Kits of the Month - Oh Christmas Tree.
This is a shaped card that I've made, using one end of a nesting die and cutting different papers from my DCWV Christmas Premium Stack, along with my card base, then layering them. To stamp my wreath image, I used Tombow dual brush markers and colored in with olive green, then red, and spritzed with my water bottle (at least 8" distance from stamp), then stamped onto the wood grain paper.
For my sentiment, I stamped with Susan K Weckesser Colorbox "Mystery" ink. Some glitter tape, ribbon and a button, finish off this pretty card.
Unity Stamps has several different membership programs that offer some of the most amazing stamps, shipped directly to your door each month. The KOM membership is one of the most popular and I absolutely adore this kit from October 2013. I've used it over and over. You can view the current membership kit, here. If you sign up today, not only will you receive the newest kit but you can order any past kits as well but these can only be purchased if you are a member of the Kit of the Month Club. Check out all the memberships and stamps available for immediate purchase, by visiting Unity Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to leave a comment to be entered to win one of two prizes. I'll see you tomorrow with a fun seasonal Autumn project.
