Here we are on day 2, and I'm featuring stamps from the Unity Stamp Company all week. Today's project puts a spotlight on the the Exclusive Stamp of the Week Membership, featuring Pumpkin Greetings.
Last year, for my mom's birthday, I bought her a 3 month membership to the Unity Stamp of the Week Club, and this is one of the stamps she received, designed by Angie Blom. Each week, a new stamp set arrives and you can purchase past "Stamps of the Week" as well, but only if you're a member of this Exclusive club.
Obviously, I selfishly hacked her stash, to make this card. You could say, maybe I had ulterior motives when I bought her birthday gift? Haha, ok, so I totally did have ulterior motives! She loves to make cards too, so it was a win-win as we would craft side by side at her house.
As you can see, I did not use the sentiment included with this kit, but instead, did a little hand lettering of my own on vellum, just to mix it up a bit. I've colored my pumpkins and hand lettered word with my Tombow dual brush markers and used a waterbrush on my pumpkins as well, to dilute the color here and there. My papers are from the DCWV Spiced Cider stack and I've embellished with burlap string, scrap ribbon, buttons and twine.
Get more information on the Unity Stamp Company Stamp of the Week Membership, here.
Leave a comment each day, Monday through Friday and your name will be thrown in the pot to win one of 2 prizes, a grab bag of 25 random Unity Stamps. Thanks for stopping by.
Tomorrow, it's all about glitter, black and gold. Check back!

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, how lucky you are to have your mom to craft with! So awesome to have her as you two can bounce ideas off of one another. Your hand lettering is fabulous and I like that you did it on vellum. Your pumpkins are done perfectly. My favorite element here is your outstanding ribbon and string embellishment.

ReplyDeleteI like this card especially for the details you added on your card. I'm not really good in mix and match of embellishments, but you did a fantastic job on this card. Not only the good choice of patterned paper with the image, you manage to combine twines, ribbons, button, burlap and watercolor hand lettering, it just wrap up your card perfectly. Awesome!

ReplyDeleteCarly, that paper is from the DCWV Spiced Cider paper stack. I found it at Tuesday Morning.
