You're The Best Card Featuring Adornit Paintables

Today' project features an image I colored recently for the Adornit Colorathon event on Facebook.  It was an all day event and featured several instructors throughout the day with watercolor tips and techniques.  I was one of the teachers and am also including a partial video further down, showing how this image was colored, using Adornit watercolor pencils and a water brush.  I've got a coupon code for you as well, so stick around!

The image I'm using is from the Art Play Paintables With Love collection from Adornit, designed by Catherine Scanlon.  Isn't it gorgeous?  There are numerous images to color on this 12x12 inch sheet that you can cut up for cardmaking or use for framed art.

I have also embellished this image using gel pens, sequins and seed beads.  You'll find a full list of products linked at the end of this post.  Some of my embellishments are from the new Fairy Dust collection from Buttons Galore and More.  These are not yet available in stores but you can look for them soon.

This image is so versatile and can be used as a thank you card, encouragement or just because!  You can use so many different mediums to color as well.  The Adornit watercolor pencils are perfect though, for coloring with a water brush, and just a little color goes a long way.
