It's time for the July/August Card Challenge at Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. This month's theme is Christmas in July! Break out those Christmas stamps and get busy. You've got plenty of time to link up your newly created projects. Plus, there's prizes up for grabs!

For my project, I'm featuring the Tree by Olesya stamp, along with the Grinch sentiment. You'll find product links at the end of this post. I actually broke up my sentiment and masked some of the wording, stamping with my Misti, so it would fit better with the dimensions of my card. I also took a brush marker and outlined the left side of each word, to make it pop a bit more.
To embellish my tree, I watercolored it using a green brush marker, then added white paint dots all over. Once dry, I dropped on dots of clear glue and crystal glitter. Right next to my tree, is a strip of washi tape with a button and string embellishment. All my adhesives are from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, including the foam star on top of my tree, that was silver foiled.
