Wintry Christmas Card featuring Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello lovelies. Today, I'm creating with Angie Blom digital images. I was excited to play along with the Christmas in July themed challenge over at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Blog. I don't get to play often enough with digital stamps but I did have several of Angie's releases already downloaded, plus, added another to create this card with a mix of releases. If you've never worked with digital designs, I have a blog post here, where I share details. It's not meant to be a step by step tutorial but simply an overview with tips.

When working with digi images, I often resize my images to suit my purposes. This often involves moving multiple images around on the screen (Microsoft Word), when you insert the images as a picture. Lots of right clicking, dragging and scaling down.

Due to the multiple images I added to this card, it did take some time to resize, drag everything where I wanted it, etc.

My sky was ink blended with Catherine Pooler Daydream ink. I added large water droplets from a waterbrush to the sky, to create clouds. I just let a little water flow and blotted with a paper towel.

Before I ink blended my sky though, I placed a circle punch over my sentiment so it would look like my sentiment was stamped on the moon.

I used a mix of Copic markers and Olo markers for my coloring. I also splattered Ranger heavy acrylic white paint around for "snow".

I am slightly obsessed with this card!! I skipped dinner to make it, haha. Actually, I'm about to sit and eat and it's almost 8:30 pm. You know how it is, you get focused on making a card and can't stop until it's complete, am I right?
