I am currently in the mountains of Guntersville, AL, participating in a wonderful 3 day scrapping retreat. We've laughed, we've sung to loud country music, we've stuffed ourselves silly and of course, I'm getting a lot of crafty stuff done.
Number one on the list? Make some layouts of my son. He has informed me that I've neglected the chronicling of his life, for cardmaking. Ok, so he's right. I'm knocking out some pages, but I also managed to squeeze in some cardmaking. Shhh....don't tell!
There's a birthday card challenge going on over at So Suzy Stamps and today is Suzy's birthday! I made a flower covered birthday card, with the sentiment inside. What girl doesn't love getting flowers for her birthday? Better yet? These flowers last a lot longer. I didn't have a birthday sentiment stamp from So Suzy, so instead, I borrowed the Cricut cartridge, Calligraphy, while here at the crop, and made my own sentiment.
Thanks for letting me share my love of crafting with you!
Here's a close-up of the card. Can you see the sparkly center of the flowers?
I stamped my image multiple times, watercolored, then touched up with additional coloring.
Thanks for letting me share my card with you today. Happy Birthday Suzy!
