Harry Potter DIY Sticky Note Pads

Treats For Mummy Plus One Minute Video

Hey friends, it's time for another project for Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps!  I had a vision for this card and I'm happy to say, it turned out just like I imagined.  It's always a plus when that happens.  I'm showcasing the stamp of the month which is 50% off, along with Catherine Pooler Inks, which are new to the store.  I have quickly fallen in love with these inks!   The coverage is amazing and the colors are absolutely delish.  Before I added the washi tape to my background, I actually thought the colors looked a bit like the house colors for Gryffindor!  What do you think?

I created this inky background using Catherine Pooler Inks and created a 1 minute video for my Crafty Friday Night video series on YouTube.  You can see that process in the video at the end of my post.

I also used chat bubble dies with my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D foam sheets to create popped up dimension for my bubble sentiments.   I splattered some of my old October Afternoon sprinkles (Witches Brew) on my word bubbles as well.

To lightly color my mummy, I used my gray Zig brush marker and added some tiny dots from an extra fine tipped black pen.

I had colored up this potion bottle awhile back and had been saving it, so I added it to the mix as well.  My sentiment can be found, here.

Harry Potter New Release Coming To Crackerbox and Suzy Stamps

Scrapbooking Universal Studios and Harry Potter World

Recently, I shared some products that I found at Scrapbook.com that were perfect for creating layouts and making cards for Harry Potter fans.  Today, I'm sharing a couple layouts that I created using some of these products.

For the first time, I've veered from the traditional 12x12 scrapbook layout and am trying the 8.5x11.  Let me say, I love it!  It feels more intimate, with less ground to cover than a larger page.  I plan on sticking with this format for awhile.

The first page features this stamp from Scrapbook Customs, called Wizard Words.  This stamp set will make some adorable cards as well.  Notice on my first page, I've cut the word "Harry Potter" with my Cricut Explore and used those fun papers that I previously told you about.  Scroll down for more information on the papers.  I've also added some memorabilia, such as the Universal Studios ticket that my child brought home.

These are the most perfect papers from Reminisce.  This kit also includes papers for Minion lovers, The Mummy and Jurassic Park, another fun feature at Universal Studios.  That was my son's favorite ride of the entire park.

I wasn't able to tag along on the Band trip but luckily, my son brought home a few souvenirs, including a gift sack with the name Ollivander's, which I cut and adhered to my page, along with a trading card from a Chocolate Frog box that features Salazar Slytherin.

I also used these fun cardstock stickers on my 2nd page, which includes a photo of my son and his 2 friends after the Blue Man Show.  They make fine wizards too, don't you think?

Wizardly Finds for Crafting With Universal Theme Parks #ad

Have you been looking for scrapbook papers, stamps or other craft items for documenting your vacations to Universal Studios theme parks?  After unsuccessful attempts to find what I was looking for locally, I finally found exactly what I needed at Scrapbook.com.   In fact, I was so excited, I decided that I had to blog about it and share with all my crafty friends.
