Fathers Day Card Plus 1 Minute Craft Hack

Hello friends.  Today, I'm sharing the Father's Day card that I made for my dad.  Although he's my second dad, he pretty much raised me and he is dear to my heart.  He's also the best "Pops" to my son.  I'm featuring a craft hack as part of my Crafty Friday Night 1 minute video series, featuring 3D heat embossed rusty nails.  These are great accents for any of your wood grain papers, scrapbook layouts and masculine cards.  I'm sure you can find other crafty uses as well but I love to add them to wood grain paper.  I'll have the video for you below, showing this technique.

Treats For Mummy Plus One Minute Video

Hey friends, it's time for another project for Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps!  I had a vision for this card and I'm happy to say, it turned out just like I imagined.  It's always a plus when that happens.  I'm showcasing the stamp of the month which is 50% off, along with Catherine Pooler Inks, which are new to the store.  I have quickly fallen in love with these inks!   The coverage is amazing and the colors are absolutely delish.  Before I added the washi tape to my background, I actually thought the colors looked a bit like the house colors for Gryffindor!  What do you think?

I created this inky background using Catherine Pooler Inks and created a 1 minute video for my Crafty Friday Night video series on YouTube.  You can see that process in the video at the end of my post.

I also used chat bubble dies with my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D foam sheets to create popped up dimension for my bubble sentiments.   I splattered some of my old October Afternoon sprinkles (Witches Brew) on my word bubbles as well.

To lightly color my mummy, I used my gray Zig brush marker and added some tiny dots from an extra fine tipped black pen.

I had colored up this potion bottle awhile back and had been saving it, so I added it to the mix as well.  My sentiment can be found, here.

Just Cards Video Blog Hop - Masculine Cards

Hey crafty friends!  I'm participating in the very first Just Cards Video Blog Hop.  It's once a month and there's a different theme each month.  It's all about the guys, with a masculine theme today.
