Cage Match at So Suzy Stamps!

It's the battle of battles at So Suzy Stamps.  Suzy has 2 main events today, in celebration of Leap Year, so you will find two blog posts from me today.  Number one, there's a blog hop, and a winner from the comments, who will win all the design team cards featured on the blog hop.  Number two, there's a cage match between Suzy's two design teams; the Stamp of the Month Club design team and the "other" design team.  Haha, yes, I'm on the SAM Club design team, so you know who I'm rooting for.

The way this challenge works is, I'll be linking up the card below to the challenge link on Suzy's blog.  You go and vote for your favorite design team project.  Suzy sent random stamps to everyone to create with, so all the projects will have different stamps.  Which ever project wins the votes, that design team member wins the cards from the rest of the team.  Be sure you check out all the details on both events today at the So Suzy Stamps Blog

And, here's the inside:

The challenge comes to a screeching halt on March 3rd, 2016.  Good luck!

So Suzy Stamps Surprise Leap Year Blog Hop

It's the battle of battles today at So Suzy Stamps!  And, it's Leap Year to boot, so unbeknownst to the "other" design team at So Suzy Stamps, Suzy is surprising everyone by having the design team from the Stamp of the Month Club (that's me), duke it out with the regulars for a "Leap" Blog Hop and Challenge.  The challenge is for us to create something with the stamps Suzy sent out.  Everyone is getting something different and we'll see who really "brings" it!   And guess what else?  There will be winners.  Card winners, even.  Someone will win the cards created from the entire design team.  Wow!

Now, if you arrived from Kymona's site, you're in the right place.  Let's get this show on the road.

Suzy sent me two stamps from the Congratulations series, one of which is actually being retired:

I've inked up my card using Suzy's brand new line of inks, called Ink Bites.  The set I'm using today is called, Coastal Breeze.  These are small cubes that pack a punch!  The colors I'm using are Egyptian Sand and Mermaid Mist and I've stenciled these inks using Clarity Brushes, as well as masking my sentiment.  I also used the same inks to make splatters on my page and embellished with DoubleClick Skittles and mini sequins.  All of these linked products can found in Suzy's online store.

Since I'm showing up and showing out today, I've finished the inside of my card with more ink splatters and the sentiment stamped in Egyptian Sand, as well.  Did I mention how much I ADORE these colors?  Oh my gosh, I mean really, I do.

Now, hop on over to my pal Jen's blog for the next stop.  If you get lost along the way, head back to Suzy's Blog to the beginning, here.
