SUMMER Coffee Loving Cardmakers Hop! Plus, Blog Candy!

It's time for all things coffee, tea and cocoa related, plus bring on the summer sunshine!  The quarterly blog hop from coffeelovingcardmakers.com begins today, hosted by the always lovely, Amy Tsuruta and her team.

My project today features a free digi from Stamplorations (cups) and a sentiment from one of their stamp sets.  You can grab those here and here (scroll down to find the digi).   I colored up my cups with Tombows and made colorful, tropical coozies for my cups out of scrap paper.  The coozies and lids are both popped up with foam squares.

Aren't they adorable?

I made my own background paper with Bristol Strathmore watercolor paper, Ranger distress sprays, TCW Stencils and Inka Gold.  I also inked up a white doily with distress ink and white splatters.

I hope you'll create something and join in.  There are over 50 sponsors who are giving away prizes as well.  The hop ends on 6/24/16 at 11:55 pm pacific time.  Scroll to the end of the hop post to find the Inlinkz button to link up.  Be sure and read the rules as back linking is not allowed.  Most importantly?  Have fun!

P.S.  I will be offering blog candy!  Winner's choice of a Starbucks $10 gift card or a Dunkin' Donuts $10 gift card.  Here's how to win:

Embossed Wedding card

Love is in the air and wedding cards abound.  I'm making them left and right for various family members.  Yes, my sister always calls when she needs something but, hey, that's what sisters are for right?  Plus, I have a nephew getting married soon so there's lots of prep going on for that (congrats Jake!)  But today, I have a wedding card made by request of sis.  It's going to a former student of hers who is getting married.

I've done some embossing and sanding and used my Lil' Inkers Designs oval stitched frame to showcase this sweet sentiment.  I also stamped a congratulatory quote inside as well.

I'll be entering this into a couple fun challenges today:

Additional supplies: Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins, May Arts Ribbon white mesh ribbon, Tombow Mono Super Bond adhesive runner, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Unity Stamps Sentiment 9/2013 kit of the month (Happiness Has No Limit), Simon Says Stamp light gray cardstock, Stickles Stardust glitter glue, Core'dinations dark gray cardstock, Close To My Heart Black archival ink, Wink of Stella glitter brush clear,

Cutting Edge Blog Hop @ Pretty Pink Posh

There's a pretty cool blog hop going on over at Pretty Pink Posh, maker of all things sequins, dies, stamps and general cuteness!  When I saw all the fun going on and the sponsors, I had to jump in.

As luck would have it, I just got this new stamp set from Waffle Flower last week.  It's their brand new "A Homemade Christmas" set.  When I saw that they were a sponsor for the hop I decided to break in my new stamps.

I'd been pondering what to make, and all my crafty thoughts went straight into this gorgeous teal/gold panel card.  One of the requirements is that you use a die, so I went for my Lil Inker Designs Stitched oval mat frame.  The rest of my supply list can be found below.

Follow this link to the Cutting Edge Blog Hop with Pretty Pink Posh and check it out.  Even if you don't enter a project, you might still win a prize.  Be sure you read the rules for the hop entries.  Good luck and I'd love it if you leave me some bloggy love!
