Creating with Little Darling Rubber Stamps and Gilded Dies

Hello lovelies.  Today, I'm guest designing with Little Darling Rubber Stamps for their week long creative event, and featuring the  new Gilded Oval Die set and Wishing You stamp set.  Nine amazing stamps in this set for a variety of occasions.  You MUST see!

If you would, hop on over to the LDRS Blog and leave comments on each day's post.  That will get you entered to win one of two $25.00 vouchers to their online store.  With an amazing selection of custom embossing folders, dies and stamps, there's a plethora of products to choose from.  And yes, I just said plethora.  See, I'm using big words for a big hop.

But first, take a look at my project today.....

I wanted to create a pretty scene for my sentiment, so, I sliced the front panel in a criss-cross and rolled up the corners to reveal a hint of what's inside.  Open the window, which is held closed with burlap string looped onto a metal key, for the full reveal.  I plan on gifting this as a wedding card for a dear relative getting married in  few months.

However, this would also make a lovely card for Mother's Day with one of the other sentiments that are included in this 9 sentiment stamp set from LDRS.

These LDRS products paired so beautifully with my papers from the DCWV Garden Charm collection.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and thanks to LDRS for letting me share their lovely products with you!

Stop by and visit any of their social media links and tell them Waving My Wand sent you!

Birthday Flowers with Two Paper Divas and DCWV

I'm back with another project featuring another one of the new releases from Two Paper Divas called, "Birthday Flowers".

I thought it would be fun to match my coloring with my designer paper of choice, which, today, is from the new DCWV collection "Garden Charm".

I selected some Tombow Dual brush markers that closely matched my DCWV papers, to do some no-line coloring.  Although I could have gone in a number of directions with those sweet stamped flowers, I chose to keep it simple.

To finish off my card, I added some pretty ribbons from May Arts Ribbon and enamel dots.

Visit the Two Paper Divas Blog for daily project inspiration and on Wednesdays for the Design Team Roundup.  Check out the new April release right here:

Don't forget to enter the Monthly Challenge!  April 24th is the last day to enter:

Day 1 Coffee Loving Cardmakers Spring Blog Hop

I'm squeaking in by the skin of my teeth to get a Day 1 post in for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  It's all about papercrafters who love coffee, tea and cocoa.   Count me in for all three!

So, I ran home from work and started on this springy card because I'm obviously a procrastinator and wait until the last minute.... or maybe, I'm just swamped?  Yeah, that would be it!  Anyway, this card features coffee stamps from So Suzy Stamps and lovely papers from DCWV called Garden Charm.  I've also got some DoubleClick Skittles bubble embellishments, sequins from The Ton and burlap string from May Arts Ribbon/The Ribbon Resource.

The coffee stain stencil is from The Crafters Workshop and my inks are Tim Holtz Brushed Corduroy distress ink.

It's "charming", don't you think?

There's a boatload of sponsors who give lovely prizes to those who participate by linking up and I just so happen to be on the design teams of several so I'm a little partial to them, two of which are featured on this card.  Can you guess?

If you'd like to join in, follow the link below and add your creation to the Inlinkz at the bottom of the post.  Friday, May 25th is the last day of the hop.

Now, if you stuck around long enough, you'll see that I absolutely cannot let a fabulous blog hop like this go by without doing something special, so I'm going to be giving away a little blog candy via random draw to those who comment on this post or any other posts that I link up this week.

How does a $10 Starbucks gift card sound?  Good luck!
