Blog Hop with Graciellie Design + Really Reasonable Ribbon Collab

This is the first of two projects that I'm sharing today.  First up, is the new release for Graciellie Design and collaboration with Really Reasonable Ribbon.  With 4 new digital stamps sets and a new digital holiday paper pack, the team is pulling out all the stops!  I'm your last stop on the hop so be sure and leave a comment to be entered to win a $20 gift card to Gracie's shop,  plus,  there's a sale.   Details on Gracie's blog.

I'm featuring the "Jingle Bells" digi stamp set.  I am totally smitten with that sentiment which reminds me of one of my favorite movies..... Polar Express!  Five amazing sentiments included with this fun Jingle Bell image.

I'm also using a couple different digital paper images from the Holiday Traditions digital paper pack, for my card; the holiday stripes and mini bells with poinsettias.  Aren't these papers just gorgeous?

The design team are working with their choice of ribbon from the October and November Club Assortment from RRR.  I chose the October set, with traditional holiday colors.  It includes 9 styles and 17 yards of ribbon and lace.

Get more information on the monthly Ribbon Club, here.  It's like Christmas in your mailbox every month!

I fashioned a pretty bow using the solid red and green with gold trim.  Scroll further down to see how I used the lace; as an accent border with my striped paper.  So pretty!  I adore lace, in every color and size.  One can never have too much lace.  There's a ton of inspiration at the RRR blog.  Check it out!

A few quick card details:  My papers and sentiment was printed on Neenah white cardstock and sized to layer an an A2 kraft card.  My paper bell was printed on Strathmore Mixed Media vellum paper and colored with Tombow dual brush markers.  My sentiment was die cut with a scalloped die and the edges blended with Ranger Ink Brushed Corduroy distress ink.  To place my mini gold jingle bells, I used a hole punch several times to make a space large enough to push the bells half-way through, sealing the edges on the back side using my Westcott glue pen.  It required that I use double stacks of foam squares to have my paper bell raise up and be level with the backside of the bells.  Otherwise, the paper bell would look uneven.  This allows for a uniform appearance, besides it was easy to do!  You'll find the mini bells in the Christmas Craft section of Hobby Lobby.

If you missed any stops on the blog hop, be sure and head back to the beginning, at Gracie's blog.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Check out the entire new release:

New DoubleClick Skittles Challenge- Use a Snowman

Welcome to the newest challenge at DoubleClick Skittles!

Challenge #37 - Use a Snowman

Dec. 9 - Dec. 22

For this challenge I used the new Skittles Christmas release, Frosty Kisses, specifically, Frosty and Frosty Blue.

You can purchase both of the new releases, Holiday Traditions and Frosty Kisses, right here:

I used my Cricut Explore and the digital Frozen cartridge, using the Print and Cut feature, to cut out Olaf and that ever-so familiar phrase.  If you have kids, then you probably know every song in the movie!

I placed the Frosty Blue Skittles on the snowflakes below.  Did you know that all the Skittles in the new release are sparkly?

And, the Frosty snowflakes on these pretty, glittered snowflakes.

Double Christmas, Double Release and DoubleClick Skittles!

Today marks the "Official" release of the brand new, first ever, dual Christmas release of  the DoubleClick Skittles embellishment line.  The design team is showcasing a couple projects of each release, Holiday Traditions and Frosty Kisses.  They were unofficially released last week and have already almost sold out, so if you want some, don't wait!

My first project features the Holiday Tradition 2015 release,
Grinch Green
Rudolph Red
Gift Gold

You can purchase both of the new releases right here:

This card is full of traditional Christmas colors and the Holiday Tradition Skittles go perfectly, don't you think?

Each of the new colors are Sparkle colors, which means they have touches of glitter.  My Skittles are paired nicely on this card with Adornit Art Play Paintables, May Arts Ribbon and DCWV cardstock.

My next project features the Frosty Kisses 2015 release:
Frosty Pink
Frosty Blue
Frosty

The Frosty Kisses release is pale in color and also sparkles and is ever so yummy!
Now, I don't know what got into me, but I had myself convinced that the mama bird needed a baby to keep her company.  So I made baby bird a cozy little nest......haha.  Yes, I did.

I like to use clear glue to adhere my Skittles but adhesive dots work also.
